Total Iced Tea Satisfaction At Last
I was never happy with the iced tea that I brewed from tea bags. I finally gave up and just bought gallon jugs of tea at the store, but they were as expensive as buying soft drinks, and even more for a better brand like Gold Leaf. My friend talked about using a kettle like this for boiling water for a single cup of tea each day. I didn't need that, as I just boil 16 oz of water in the microwave for four minutes and I'm good. Then I saw this kettle with the infuser and thought I might have a game changer on my hands--and I was right. I was already buying the Ahmad Barooti Assam tea in 16 oz packages here on Amazon, so I gave it a try in the infuser. With a little practice I found that two level tablespoons in the infuser was perfect for the 1.8 liter capacity of this kettle. I add 1/4 cup sugar, but that's personal taste. I love the automatic shutdown after the tea has brewed. Once you figure out how the infuser pops into the lid, then it's simple as can be. Cleanup is simple with the spray attachment on my kitchen faucet to rinse out the remaining tea leaves after I've dumped the infuser. As far as I'm concerned, this thing has already paid for itself with the money I've saved over buying store tea, and I'm enjoying it a whole lot more.

Still love this tea kettle!
Can't remember if I already wrote a review, but either way, after several months of use, it is one of our better buys. Really like the multi-temp choices. Each temp has a different LED color ring at the base to correspond with that particular temperature. When re-heating a pot of tea, we use the lowest temp setting which still makes it hot enough, but not so darn hot that it not drinkable at all! The highest temp does bring it to a boil quite quickly. (Haven't actually timed it yet, but it is fast!)It is quite heavy to pour, but that's to be expected, especially since it has a great 1.8 liter capacity. The easy to grip handle keeps one's hand away from the hot contents. The stainless steel base & trim around the top add a classy look to it.It pour neatly, with no drips. We drink lots of tea so really like the infuser, which can be removed if desired, for just hot water. Either tea bags or loose tea can be used in the infuser. It has auto shut off, a good safety feature, but does reheat quickly if needed. The low price makes it an unusually great buy for a good quality product. A great addition to our kitchen!Chefman does seem to make very good quality products.

Cute and Well-Functioning Kettle
I have had this kettle for only about a month, but so far, I love it. The LED lights make it really cute when boiling or heating water. I love that I can set it for a specific temperature, and once the water reaches that temperature , the kettle automatically shuts off. So far, it has functioned well. Time will tell whether it will last, but so far, I am very happy with it. I have not used the infuser with it, but I think that is a bonus if you want to make a big batch of tea. If anything changes, I will post an update to my review.

Loved It—Until It Quit After a Year
It heats up water to a boil very quickly. However, it doesn't shut off immediately after reaching the boiling point, and the boiling is so intense that it made me a bit worried. Overall, we really liked it, but it suddenly stopped working after 15 months of use. We used it heavily—several times a day, every day. I've just placed an order for the exact same model again, this time with an added warranty.

Love this teakettle
I had to purchase a new kettle when my old one suddenly stopped working. It was a chefman also but this one is WAY better as there is a temperature control button for different types of tea! Its color tells you the temp setting. It takes slightly longer to boil than my previous one did, but it’s still faster than traditional methods and I love the glass vs plastics or metals (still has aluminum bottom and plastic spout but majority of it is glass). I use mine everyday for tea and also love that this one has a removable pour screen for cleaning (hopefully the company enables customers to purchase replacements).

This is a great hot water / tea kettle
I don't actually make tea in this, but I do use it daily to boil water for my tea. Using water from my Brita pitcher, it boils quickly and efficiently for my tea bags that I place in a tea pot for brewing. I have used the center core for loose tea, but the holes are difficult to clean and I don't like things floating around in the water. It is also not always easy to insert through the lid opening. I do love that it turns off as soon as I pick it up. Very easy to use. Value at the price.

Excellent customer service
This kettle is perfect, but my review is more about customer service. I accidentally broke one of the tabs that holds the tea diffuser on the lid for brewing. I contacted the company Chefman through warranty support and told them I broke the lid and wanted to try to order replacement. They shipped me an entire new kettle, quickly I might add. I had to send in pics of the damage but other than filling out the online form, that was it. I am really impressed at this level of customer service.

Electric Hot water / infuser
Hot water in a few seconds! I make custard in oven bath so it heats the large amount of water I need to add to pan . in a minute or so it's boiling and once hot reheats to a boil in seconds. Also use in for my own herbal teas using the infuser. Make ice tea too.
