Good quality and fit 25mm box
I've replaced a few sockets with 2 x USB double sockets from Screwfix in the past. Typically, connectors are moving over to USB-C for some items, so these are a good way to hedge your bets. Ordered 4 and the rocker was broken on one which was disappointing. Amazon returns were straightforward so not too much hassle. They fitted a standard 25mm box on a straightforward ring main, but if you had more wires e.g. from a spur coming in, you might find you need a deeper box as the USB electronics take up a bit more space on the rear. The plastic feels tight and looks like it won't yellow. I did look at the LAP ones from Screwfix, but their more expensive ones were a similar price to these and I've always like MK fittings so that swung my decision. I found the grub screws for the terminals very stiff as they had been set in place with a dab of what looked like red paint. That makes sense as they can often fall out or be missing. However, they were hard to screw down. My recommendation is to screw each one fully down and then back them off before pushing the wires into the terminal. This will make it easier to tighten the screws and get a good connection. You get up to 15W from the USB-C port which is the maximum currently available on the Apple Magsafe wireless charger so they are fine for smartphones and will even do for newer laptops if you're not in a hurry. For instance, the Apple supplied charger for a MacBookAir is 30W so these will do the job if you're prepared to wait or just want a top up while you're working.

Virtually the whole width of the box requires clearance for wiring.
Nice design with USB connectors at the bottom. This did however give problems replacing the original sockets which had lots of space at the bottom and the wiring came up into this space. This unit would be easy to install if the existing wiring came from the back rather than at the bottom. It required a fair amount of effort to move the wiring around to make sufficient space for this design.

MK trusted brand
I bought this MK plug socket with both USB type A and the smaller type C because a family member had bought a new device that had a type C lead and my other sockets were all twin type A. Installation was straightforward and no difference from replacing a non USB socket (in my experience). It works ok using a lead without having the bulk of an adaptor used in conventional square pin outlet. I chose MK for their reputation as being a quality brand and they have never let me down yet.
