There aren't enough stars to truly rate "Easy to use"
Setup wasn't very difficult even though it requires Bluetooth and WiFi connectivity. Once setup, it is a breeze to use while all your weight data is being captured and forwarded to Garmin Connect. Once there you can even link in your doctor so they can review the data. The scale's price was inline with equivalent competitors so it was a no-brainer but the blood pressure monitor is a hefty premium over competitors. I took a chance that having BP data auto-captured would prove valuable and has been. Simply step on the scale, wait a moment, and step off and all your weight and BMI data is auto-synchronized to Garmin Connect to join all your workout data captured by your Garmin smartwatch or bike computer.

Great product
I really enjoy this scale. It is very sleek. Just kind of blends in with my floor because I have dark tile and the numbers are large enough that you can see him and it is extremely accurate. Would highly recommend. It was very easy to set up in fact it actually transfers everything to the app that I use for my Apple Watch, which makes it nice to have everything in one place. I purchased a bundle and the blood pressure monitor. I really like also seems to be very accurate. Very easy to use.

The worst smart weight scale made
I purchased the Garmin Index S2 Weight scale believing that like other Garmin products it would be a solid product and performer. Even though it was more than three times more expensive, I wanted it to provide the information to my Garmin App. To my surprise a solid performer it wasn't. It is difficult to setup, doesn't update well with the Garmin app and within a couple of weeks the weight scale programming and electronic broke down to where the screen just flashed white then black until it shut off. To Garmin's credit they replaced the unit and I started over again. This new unit works, but the screen doesn't stay on long enough and is so small you can't read it. The app displays the measured weight but is hard to find BMI, water, muscle bone and fat % but does not provide a BMR, really minimal information and display on the Garmin app. I have tried two different competitor smart weight scales that have wonderful apps that integrate with the scale flawlessly and provide a myriad of information, analysis and help. Both of the top rated weight scales were very easy to setup and their smart phone app were both very easy to use providing all of the measured information gathered from the scale including weight, BMI, bone, muscle, water, fat, lean body mass, subcutaneous fat and total fat. They both also provide your BMR. Your resting metabolic rate. Which is very important if you are trying to achieve your weight goals. They both provide trends and analysis. The Garmin app does not provide BMR nor any analysis. Garmin could really make this a bright differentiator but they haven't and even thought I have the S2, I purchased a new top rated smart weight scale, for a fraction of the Garmin S2 price and the new competitor smart scale works flawlessly

Game-Changer for Tracking Health and Fitness!
The Garmin Smart Scale is hands down one of the best fitness tools I’ve ever used! It goes way beyond just measuring weight — it tracks body fat, muscle mass, water percentage, and more, giving me a complete picture of my health. The accuracy is impressive, and it syncs seamlessly with the Garmin Connect app, making it easy to monitor progress over time.I love how it recognizes multiple users automatically, so everyone in the family can use it without hassle. The sleek design fits perfectly in my bathroom and feels sturdy and high-quality underfoot. It’s motivated me to stay on track with my fitness goals like never before. If you’re serious about understanding your body composition and tracking your health data in detail, this smart scale is a must-have. Only Worth The Price If You Use Garmin ecosystem
The Garmin Index S2 is a solid smart scale, especially if you're already using the Garmin ecosystem. It syncs seamlessly with the Garmin Connect app, making it easy to track body metrics like fat percentage, muscle mass, and more. However, the build quality doesn’t quite justify the high price tag. Unless you're deeply invested in Garmin products, there are more cost-effective options out there that offer similar features.

Great Scale No Connection Issues
Used every day or a few months now. Love this scale! Super easy to use. Setup was quick, easy, and straight forward. Never had any connection issues whatsoever. The people who can’t get it to work must be totally inept. It uses Bluetooth for the setup but after that process is complete it only uses your home WiFi to transmit the measurements to the Garmin Connect app. Seems like people aren’t understanding how it uses both Bluetooth and WiFi.

Great Scale
This scale is user friendly, making it easy for me to get it up and running. I like how you can save different entities to track individual progress, and the weight makes it so it stays put but isn’t too heavy to carry, if needed. It also sends info to my Garmin watch, which is convenient.

First Garmin Disappointment
I have owned several Garmin products over the years and been quite satisfied with them. This scale was significantly more expensive than other similar scales but I thought it would integrate well with my Connect app and compliment my Activities info. My Connect app suggested this purchase. First issue was that the scale was hard to wake up, I would tap with my foot and nothing until repeated harder taps. Second issue was connectivity...it didn't seem to connect to my Connect app and required using the reset button on the underside. Third issue was % body fat accuracy, seemed way off and my other previous scale showed a much lesser % than the Garmin value. Fourth issue was that my wife couldn't simple use the scale, she had to have the Connect App and set up an account....there should be an option to simply use the scale without all that, or an option for me to add another standalone user. First big Garmin disappointment. I returned the scale and am using my old scale which cost about a quarter the price of the S2. Garmin: Do better.
