Good for repairing cut lead of hedge trimmer
Like an idiot, I cut through the cable of our long-arm hedge cutter for the second time. First time I repaired it with insulating tape etc and it worked OK. Second time it didn’t, so I removed both botched repairs and used this connector. It was easier to connect than my rubbish method and the hedge trimmer now works like a dream with a much more secure and safe connection. I also have a spare for when I inevitably do it again.

Worked OK to join 2 x 3 core cables but the cable securing collars are a bit average, you need to be very careful not to strip the plastic retainers.
