Dogs seem to like it....
Although the dogs seem to like this, they haven't told me if it's "comfortable" or "warm" (two of the four choices for 'star ratings' in Amazon), but neither of them seem to be complaining.... The bed fits perfect in the crate, and I love that, because the OLD pad left a gap between the pad and the crate side, which was probably not very comfy for the dogs. This one fits just shy of the crate side, allowing for a sheet or pad covering to be tucked around it.

Great Quality and It Fits Perfectly in the Dog Crate
This item fits perfectly in our dog's crate. I use it underneath her fuzzy bed, but it would be perfectly fine to use this pad alone for your pet. Since we use it as a base for our dog's fuzzy bed, it gives wonderful support to her since she is getting older and seems to enjoy the comfort of the two layers. I also like that it is machine washable!

Good looking kennel pad
My 6 month old Lab puppy chewed a hole at the seam between the top and the bottom and has torn out some of the stuffing. Recommend for dogs out of the chewing phase . Looks great and my dog loves laying on it in his kennel.

Love the fabric.
My dog shredded the pad that came with her crate. This one fits perfectly.

Not as described - completely different bed!!
Buyer beware!! Purchased 4 total. One 24 in and three 36 in. 24 in as described. 36 in, completely different bed. Very little padding, bolsters and non-removeable cover!! Not at all as described.

Not Just For Dogs - Makes A Great Toddler Pad Too
I have a tile floor. I was looking for a pad just like this for my 2 year old grandson to sit / lay / play on when it's movie night at Grandma's house. This pad works perfectly. The dimensions are exactly as stated. The pad is a thick, firm two inches. Two soft sides to lay on, one with thick faux lamb fur for cooler nights, and the other a smooth cloth for warmer nights. The zipper is on the end and is hidden under a flap. Although the cover is removable / washable, I will most likely find a separate pad cover for it and keep the pad / original cover in tact. On a side note, I do have a golden retriever, so if you are trying to size up the pad for your dog, the 36" would work great for this size dog and smaller. For larger dogs, you may want to get the biggest.

Good portable foam bed for pets, but my dog has not warmed up to it.
This pet bed is made to fit a crate, but it's also a good size for using outside the crate. It's light and portable and can be moved from room to room. It's not very thick but gives enough cushion especially on a carpeted floor.I also like to take a bed like this to our road trips when we take our dog, as the hotels do not provide pet beds despite the extra charge, and our Lab is not too comfortable if the hotel has hardwood floors or low carpet and tends to jump into the bed! In a pinch it can also work as a camping bed in a tent, as the tent floor tends to get cold and there is rarely any space on the sleeping pad.I rated it 3 stars as our dog has simply not accepted this bed. He typically jumped into any new pet bed we purchased for him, but with this one after a week, he still does not want to sleep on it. It's weird. Maybe because it's too thin and he does not think it's a bed, but I have sometimes put down a blanket for him on the ground and he's been happy with that. It's really mysterious. So for now rating it 3 stars, as the doggy doesn't approve yet. Will update if he finally takes to it.

Good quality covers, sturdy but not super supportive padding
I don't crate my pooch Ivory, but she has several beds, so I thought that I'd give this a try. She has lain on it, and she seemed fine. It's definitely not something that she prefers, though, and I think that I know why. The outer fabric is good quality and seems comfortable to enough to me, but the internal material compresses quite a bit.I'd say that the interior was chosen for consistency and to be more long lasting, which isn't a bad thing. This mat isn't going to crumple and end up on one side of a crate like a soft pillow-like mat might. It's going to retain it's shape very well. That said, it compresses quite a bit under weight, so it's not very supportive. Better than a bare floor? I'd say so. Not better than a more supportive foam, though.I think that this mat will last under regular use, but I think that you'd still want to add another layer of comfort for your pooch on top of it.
