Reading Group Hero
I love this product. I don’t use it for my kitchen though. I’m a teacher and run reading groups. This small cube makes a chime to let me know the time is up and IMMEDIATELY turns off when I turn the cube. No delay! I was getting frustrated that other cube products would be screaming loud and not shut off when moved. This cube is loud for my purposes (and I think would work well in the kitchen for it’s created purpose), but doesn’t startle or alarm you like other products. Will be buying more for teacher friends in future.

Clearer directions here
As others have said, this is very small, about 1" x 1" cube. It is fun to use. But the directions are very unclear, and I had to do my own testing to discover what they meant.Basic Functions: As expected, turn the cube to 1, 3, 5, 10, or 15 minutes. The timer will beep once and the clock face will start blinking slowly. At the end, it will beep 5 or 6 times and then stop. The sound is loud enough to hear in the same room, but maybe not the next room over.Using the Multiplier: Before starting the timer, you can set the multiplier for 2x, 3x, 4x, or 5x. Press the button to select a multiplier, and that multiplier will light up and blink. For example: 2x on 15 will time for 30 minutes. If the multiplier button does not work, try turning the cube to any time, then back to "wake it up". It should beep. The cube goes to sleep if nothing is being timed and no buttons are pressed for about 10 seconds. Also note that the button does not respond instantly, but needs to be held for a tiny bit (about half a second), and then triggers when you release the button. This is true for every press of the button, even for adding minutes.Adding Minutes: Once timing, press the button to add 1 minute at a time. All 4 multiplier lights will flash with each button press. This means you can set it for just about any time. For example: Set it to 5 minutes, then press the button two times. It will time for 7 minutes. The directions seem to indicate this is limited to 30 extra minutes, but I have not tested this limit.Turning it On/Off: Hold the button down for 4 seconds (while it is awake) to turn it on or off. If the cube is asleep and you hold the button, it will wake it up and select the next multiple, which is a little confusing. Just wake it up first by turning it.Drawbacks: There is no way to tell how much time is left, or even how long it was set (see Adding Minutes above). Also, the first unit I got didn't work. I think the button was stuck in the down position, as it is a very shallow button. Fortunately, Amazon replaced it for free.Other notes: The charging cable it comes with is VERY short. Like, maybe 1 foot. Fortunately, it is micro USB, so you probably already have longer charging cables if you need them.UPDATE: In less than a month of light use (maybe two or three times a day) it stopped working. It was beeping like crazy, hard to turn off, as it would go to "sleep" after, like, 1 second. Tried recharging, still didn't fix it. Lowering from 4 stars to 2, and returning item. Nice concept, bad execution.

Very cute stuff
Bought this cube for Pomodoro technique practice. Box and cube is really cute and easy to use. Recommend to spend some time in investigating behavior, because it's not easy to get instantly. Blue circle is not for showing progress - it's just blinking when timer is counting. So analog (or the same?) for about 2 times bigger price: can't imagine why to pay more if you can get the same for about 12$.

Works as promised
Great tool to use for my "15 minute cleaning" ritual wherein my roomie and I take the first 15 minutes after we get home to tidy up together.

No English instructions.
Came without only Chinese instructions.

Hard to track time flow
There is no digital display, so it’s impossible to identify how much time left. It is very small and lightweight.
