Bought this  waterproof balaclava  for outdoor walk and also I am hoping to use for my Himalayan adventure.The balaclava is like wearing over your head. I covers your head, ears and neck area well keeping the eyes and nose exposed. There is a small filter provided which you can slide in the filter pocket in the nose section helping with the clean air. The balaclava comes with a zip allowing greater comfort. You can also layer up inside in the extreme cold weather providing as a thermal wear. With regards to size I would say it will fit an average and large size head but could potentially be a bit loose for a small size head. There is also a thin lining of reflective fabric for high visibility. I wear this under a full face motorcycle helmet and find it great. Keeps my face and neck draft free and adds a real good layer of insulation. My only sort of criticism is that with the dust filter in, it does impede breathing! That isn't what I bought it for though so I'm not knocking a star off for that. Good quality, very happy with purchase. I have a massive head by the way and it easily fits me!

I bought this last year so time to review.Iam still using this item, made very well. Comfortable fit, can have earphones in with this on with your helmet on no problems I've worn it in EVERY!! Weather condition.In the summer.. Can get warm with it on but the mouth mask is useful.In the extreme snow will keep u just about warm will keep the chill away on the neck for sure. As I said iam still using it now perfect investment don't look any further if your reading this review, make sure u wash it, u breath through it might talk through it, small particles wil get through after Alot of use n will smell. u can pull the mouth part down abit to talk or smoke it won't pull down on ur head which is good.

Very comfy, very warm, fits snugly. Not sure about the waterproof capabilities as I have a waterproof helmet cover for when I ride in the rain. I use this for cycling back and forth to work in freezing temperatures and for that it works perfectly. My kids know if it’s going to be cold outside when they’re having breakfast if I start putting my ‘Ninja Mask’ on before I leave for work!!! LOLHighly recommended for cold outside adventures or simply walking the dog. Just don’t walk into any banks or shops as you’ll have a lot of explaining to do!!

Terrifically warm and comfortable. It beats all my other balaclavas hands down. The breathable material stops my face getting clammy and the specific shape of the garment allows greater wearing comfort when worn under a variety of differing styles of Motorcycle helmets. !0/10.

Usually I ride my bike to go work. City I’m living is very contaminated, sometimes just disgusting how it smells, that’s why I bought the balaclava. This is coming with a paper filter for set on the mask and clean all dirt from outside. Also it fits on my head perfectly. Winter time never’d been so much warm as those days since I’m using it. It’s great, comes with a zipper on the back to adjust your head. I like it, made with good materials and great design. Also I’m thinking to use for next Ski trip...

I bought this balaclava to use daily on a motorbike in snowy, windy conditions. What appealled to me the most, was the length that tucks into your jacket or top as many others are too short. This one is a great length if not a little too girthy. Unfortunetly the same can not be said for the nose cover, which is tight enough to hurt. I'm hoping after a couple of uses it may stretch out, but from the looks of the excellent design and feel of the material, I am doubting it will deform to suit. Instead I'm guessing the wife will be adjusting it for me with a gusset here and a reinforcement there.
