Good option when it is time to replace the head.
Bolt pattern different from the original but installation was straightforward. Good quality product. Works like a charm.

Super easy installation
I purchased this to replace an existing Raritan toilet, it was a snap! went in so perfectly, took about 30 minutes from unpacking to first use... Awesome product high quality, Porcelain in my opinion is the only way to go...

Total junk now. Maybe they were okay 20 years ago.
In the two years I have owned this toilet, the handle has broken twice (it is made from an incredibly thin aluminum tube). It constantly loses siphon. In order to get it to flush at all, I have to give every new person on my boat a 5 minute lesson because it is so finicky. I thought this was going to be an upgrade compared to the Jabsco's I've been using for 10 years, but it's not. It may even be worse.Everything about it is CHEAP and wears out extremely quickly. Rusting, breaking, and also there are bad design elements that I have had to fix, specifically with the pump handle.Now the internals have failed completely. Expect to pay $100/year in parts to keep this head working.

Quality
Just finished installation, so only time will tell if it truly is (5)stars. However, so far it's so much better than the Jabsco I am impressed. I really like that the intake volume and discharge volume are very close. the intake on the Jabsco is so much larger than the discharge, you have to stop the intake after 10 - 12 strokes to clear the bowl. Our rule, when on overboard (at sea) is a minimum of 20 strokes to keep the lines from backing up into the toilet. Hopefully this will also not be a problem with the Raritan as it is with the Jabsco. Will update after a few months of experience with it. UPDATE: Just finished our first short cruise. Since we were in the intercoastal it was strictly holding tank (which, thanks to Laggon, is above the head - stupid), and there was absolutely no back flow into the head. My wife says she likes the boat again.
