CHALA Deluxe Messenger Bag Mermaid

This is the second purchase of the bag. The first was well used. I liked the material/beads used for the eyes much better on the first bag. One of the eyes had fallen out when this bag arrived, but was in the plastic bag. Need to some how reattach it.

I love this bag! It is really cute and well made with a long (adjustable) strap that fits well across my plus size body. It is roomy but not bulky and has lots of pockets. I get tons of compliments on this bag because it is really adorable!

I freaking LOVE this bag! The fox is adorable and the little details make it amazing! It is the perfect size for a wallet, a small tablet/kindle and my phone (I don't necessarily want to carry more than that but there's room). The strap is adjustable to wear over the shoulder or cross body. The inside pickets are nicely sized for keys,glasses, etc. The outer pocket has a magnet closure which is super handy. The outer pocket w/ the Fox on it can be zipped off the bag, but I'm not sure how functional it would be. The materials are lovely, and the manufacturer included a small cloth bag to protect it when it is stored, all though I think it's too cute not to have it anywhere but out! This is my second Chala bag, and both are well made. Everything they do has cute little unexpected details (zipper pulls, decorative buttons, polka dot lining) that make them absolutely delightful. I also have one of their key chains which is cute and well made. I think this is a great company.

I don’t usually spend this much on purses and was nervous it wouldn’t be big enough to hold my stuff. I’m one of those people who carries a book everywhere. But this was definitely big enough for a book and all my stuff! There’s lots of pockets to store pretty much anything you need. Small pockets and big pockets. Not big enough for a laptop, but definitely big enough for a Kindle. I wish the strap was a tad bit longer, but at full length it comes down to right on my waist which is probably long enough for most people. Definitely worth the money and I would definitely buy another one! Don’t think I will have to do that anytime soon though because it seems pretty well made.

it is a little smaller than my laptop although i measured it but it is ok the style allows it to stick out of the top a little. LOVE this bag i prefer to have a purse/laptop bag all in one and it is very nice quality the stitching is really important the laptop add lots of weight and rips the straps of bags - these straps are really sturdy. It is so cute everyone comments on it. lots of space, lots of pockets - really cute blue polka dots on brown fabric on the inside. would fit an ipad perfectly but again having a couple inches stick out is not an issue at all. the front of it with the fox on it unzips completely and holds your laptop - cool design.

If you're one to carry tons of unneeded stuff this isn't for you. I bought this little bag because that's what I did and needed to eliminate the weight off my shoulders. It's big enough to carry that I need and use and I'm not tempted to put in more than what I need because I THINK I'll need it sometime. It's extremely well made and absolutely adorable. Has several outside compartments and a good amount of space inside. Plus the kitty on the front isn't completely sewed down so you have a place the to tuck small things in like my chap stick and small hand cream.

There are way more pockets than what I expected. This bag will keep you pretty organized. The overall size is very spacious, unfortunately, I can't fit my iPad pro in it, but I didn't expect it would fit. I spent a long time searching the web for the right purse. Function and organization being my top priority. The strap on my old purse broke and I came across this Deluxe Messenger bag. I love quirky, original designs and Chala has the cutest animals. I bought the bulldog one. The only thing that would be better if they had a Sheltie or Australian shepherd!

This purse gets so many compliments for its cute design. But better than that, it's one of the sturdiest purses I've ever owned. The canvas eventually wore through, but none of the interior pockets ever ripped--despite my constantly cramming my phone into them. Strap also held out a LONG time. It was such a great purse the first time, that I ordered the exact same one again:-)
