I purchased this to replace a similar sized hand held blower. For me sometimes compressed air canisters blow a bit too hard. And I don't like having to buy them, throw out the spent cans and repeat. So I use these rechargeable versions to blow off filters, keyboards, electronics, disperse water from something I washed, etc. I had bought several of the same brand. They worked, had a few speeds and attachments. But...the rechargeable battery was not good. After about 6-8 months of my regular use the batteries would not hold a charge very well. So I bought this brand this time. Has multiple speeds and attachments just like the previous brand I used. But this one holds a charge much, much longer than the last type I owned. And...fan speed 3 is insane. We are talking mini leaf blower action. No, really. A few times putting it on speed 3 has resulted in the "overspray" blowing stuff off my counter or shelf, making my window blinds sway around, etc. Thankfully speeds 1 and 2 tame the microburst strength winds some compared to speed 3. The battery life alone makes this worth it but I do also like having the extra power when I need it.
