First I shut down all my network hardware. Plugged this into my ISPs gateway router's 10gig output, then plugged in my devices. Rebooted the whole system and it worked. No muss no fuss. Metal chassis and 2.5G per port. My ISP sells me 2G bandwidth so it outperforms my provider!

Nice little switches. They work good.Update: I purchased two for our new place in another state. So I decided to try them for a couple of months in Florida before moving out. I now live in another house and they are being used constantly. However, not everything is connected because I'm still working in my home theater construction. Their load is minimal: 2 Tvs, PS5, Philips Hub and Lutron hub to control lights in the house. I'm describing my network, because they have to be powercycled once a week. I don't like that. I've had many other switches that worked for years without any problems. So, in a nutchel, if you want a tiny 2.5 Gps switch that you can put in a media box, then this one is for you. But if you don't want to constantly (every week) power cycling them due to loosing internet, then look somewhere else. These are not for you. If I had known that, I would have gone with another brand.

Powered both a 24v and 48v WAP.*UPLINK* ports are misleading for those that do not know. These are not "uplink" anything, they are standard switch ports that can be used for anything but POE. Perhaps a minor niggle, but they should be labeled as non-POE or something similar.It's a dumb switch so setup could not be easier.

Works as expected 2.5Gbps without issues

Plug it in and it works, plug SFP+ fiber connections in, and it works without issue. Seems to run cool and pass 10Gb traffic without issue. I wish you could manage it, but I won’t ding them for that, since it is listed as an unmanaged switch.

Pros:- metal case- runs at reported throughput speeds- stable- 2 fiber ports for future network upgrades- excellent price, given build quality and speedCons:- none so farVery happy with this switch. At some point in the future, I plan on upgrading all other switches on the main truck with these, all interconnected with fiber, then cat 6 to each terminal run. Great for the price.
