My favourite series
I only had the audiobooks previously and wanted the physicals. I like the UK spines and wanted paperbacks that I don’t mind beating up with rereads and the box sets seem a good way to go about it! Should you read these? Absolutely. Words of Radiance is arguably one of the greatest fantasy novels ever written and Way of Kings is my favourite book of all time

Ink smudges if you press to hard
Review of the book quality, not the author's work.I've never experienced this with books before. If you rest you fingers or hands on the pages where text is, with any force, the ink will smudge. Doesn't affect readability, but it looks unsightly, and well, that's not how books are supposed to work. To make things worse, the margins around the page edges are so small that the book has to be prized open with some force so you can see the text near the inside. So it's a struggle not to touch or place your fingers or hands where the text is, and to avoid defacing the pages you have to handle the pages with deliberate care while reading. Doable, but annoying. The pages themselves have a look and smell somewhat reminiscent of newspaper paper. On the plus side the spines are those that are almost impossible to crease, and the covers seem fine and normal.Note that I'm referring to the main single-volume books, not the novella which has a different (more normal) paper quality.

Overall great!
Overall a great purchase. The two larger books have nice thin paper whilst the novella has thicker paper as it has far less pages. The overall quality of the books, covers, pages as well as the box is good although Edgedancer came with a scratch on the spine, if not for this it would have been 5 stars.
