It comes out of phone sometimes and doesn't charge sometimes (but this usually happens with all non apple cables) . Magnet is strong which is good. The light is nice.

Update March 19, 2017: Well, as I noted in my add-on review a few weeks after posting my original review, the charger cable fails to connect once every 1-2 weeks, meaning that though the magnetic cable latches onto the phone, there is no indication on the screen that the phone is now charging, and disconnecting and repeating the process several times doesn't make a difference, the next morning, the phone has not been charged. When this happens, I've found I must remove my cover and use the special little tool that comes with the Wsken to remove the little plug that goes into the bottom of the phone. Once I do this and then plug it back in, it begins charging again as before. So now that I've had the cable for a couple of months, I've had to do this 5-6 times. Can't imaging why this happens, when it works perfectly all the other time, but it's so annoying that I've decided to knock my 5-star down to a 2-star rating. I'd love it if they'd figure this out, I'd buy a new one. And it's not just me; I posted in the Q/A section and got back at least one response where the exact same thing was happening to him. Come on, Wsken, please fix this.Original review: I may be in the minority, but I have hated the lightning charger plug on my iPhone 7+ since the day I got it. I know it's reversible; that's its only saving grace to me. I hate the way it takes two hands and a certain amount of fumbling and re-aligning it to get it attached, and how it's just not satisfying to use. When I did a search for magnetic cables, the Wsken appeared to be the best-reviewed, and for a more than agreeable price, I ordered one. Well, I love it. Every time I bring my phone's charging port toward the cable and it jumps to connect, I feel I'm getting one over on Apple, who for whatever reason, refuses to make a charging mat option, and instead changed the plug, making my other accessories (e.g., music dock) unusable. And yes, I know these are tired, old complaints, and yes, I know Apple gives endless reasons for redesigning their cable. All of that being said, I'm thrilled with my Wsken charging cable, it does exactly what its ads say it will do. The cute little plug that slips into the receiver in the bottom of the phone is relatively flush (its five little gold tips just barely extend past the cover I use) and the cable leaps to do the job every time the phone is brought near. The only down side I've found is that when I need to sync my phone using the USB/PC cable (rather than the A/C cable I use to charge the phone) I have to take the cover off the phone and use the special little plug remover that comes with the Wsken. This activity usually results in the little plug flying across my desk. The other thing to remember is that the plug and its cable only connect magnetically one way; if you try to attach the plug the opposite way, it magnetically opposes. So when you do take the plug out, you need to remember which way to put it back in (otherwise your phone will be face-down when charging...maybe you like that).

Construction of cable and magnetic connection is of high quality.The issues I have are: slow charging - but it does charge.For my IPhone 7 I have difficulty in retaining a connection when the phone is held upright and/or moving, possibly due to the phone home page display turning on when moving or picking up the phone. If, laying the phone down flat it connects easier, however, at times it just doesn't seem to recognize the connection and I have to re-position the magnet connector until the phone recognizes the connection.The phone connection has a light which comes on when connected to power, its usefulness doesn't appear necessary when you can pick up your phone and see it is connected. What would be useful is if the connector light changed color showing a completed charge.When I went to sync the phone to ITunes, ITunes displayed a message concerning if I wanted to update my phone to the latest IOS. My phone has the latest IOS and has no need for updating. Not sure what drove this but seems apparently a connection issue as well. Not harmful or anything just selected not to update.This connector is likely one of the better ones out there so far.I am not sure, yet, if the cable, when used to power and navigate in the car, will function is mounted in an upright position and the connection is broken.

On May 5, 2017 I left a negative review about this product, which did not work upon my original submission. Based on my review, Wsken reached out and proactively offered me a replacement - which works perfectly, and charges my iPad quickly and reliably after 2 weeks of use. I'm now happy with this product and plan to buy several more. I was a doubter, but now I'm on board.

What a great product! The adapter fits perfectly with my iPhone 7 case (Otterbox Symmetry), and the magnetic portion of the cord easily connects in the proper orientation without fumbling. I've replaced my home and automobile charging cables with the Wsken product.

I don't like to write reviews, but this time I think I must. I tried several similar cables, but nothing good like this one. I put the old cables in the garbage.This is an excellent product, works like a charm with my iPod Pro!Very easy to connect with one hand and excellent craftsmanship. Highly recommend. I am planing to order extra for another devices I have.When you start to use them (home, car office or at your night stand) it is hard to come back to original way to charge your gadgets. The magnet is very strong and you dont even have to look, just move your cable close to charging port with appropriate adapter. Now it is my favorite way to charge all my devices including Samsung Tab and B&O H8 headphones (requred micro usb adapter). I can't wait for usb-c adapter they promise. Try it and you will like too.I would like to mention the seller is very esy to communicate with.

The magnetic "ring" that surrounds the adapter that plugs into the iPad charging port came off, and now it won't connect and charge the iPad. The two magnetic rings connect, but the ring that was supposed to be fixed to the adapter is not. I gave this item to a friend who has had a stroke, and he doesn't have enough strength or fine motor skills to click the charging cord into the port otherwise, so I know the adapter has not been abused in any way. I'm very disappointed!

The magnet doesn't always bind straight, sometimes gets stuck at the corner.EDIT: switched from using a wall charger to using the macbook USB port, worked for about two weeks then caused the computer to lock down. Black screen, wouldn't boot, magsafe blinking orange, tried SMC and PRAM reset and nothing. Had to open up the computer, pull the battery connector and do a hard reset. Got it working again then next day same thing happened when charging the phone. Computer issues didn't happen before the cable, and stopped after we stopped using the cable.

This item works for iPhone, but only for a week or two. After that, it begins to start and stop charging randomly, despite the light being on, and a few weeks after that stops working entirely, even when the phone is powered down. This is a steep price to pay for 5 weeks of cable.Note: this is not based on ONE order, this is based on SEVERAL wsken lightning dongles used with 2 different ipad 2s, an iphone 6s, and an iphone 7plus. Save your money and look elsewhere

I'm really upset because of the build quality... Magnet in the cable falls off if some pressure is applied which makes it very uncomfortable to use.
