Didn't work for me
Seemed like the perfect little splitter for what I needed but it didn't work for me, the color of the video signal to my TV was significantly affected, everything was changed to some crazy orange, pink or green color.

works on roku streaming stick
seems to work well with roku streaming stick in one end and then hdmi to my projector for picture and coaxial to my sound bar surround system for sound.

Connected to Chromecast and tried both Toslink and Coax outputs to my DAC. No signal. 4K HDMI Audio Extractor,4K HDMI to HDMI Audio Converter (SPDIF Optical+Coaxial+3.5mm L/R Stereo Audio),5.1 CH Dolby Digital DTS Audio Decoder Gold,AUTO EDIDUpdate: Turns out the extractor requires HDMI Out to be connected to a monitor/TV to function, and a new version which sheds that requirement is coming in 2018. Once connected to the TV, functions as expected.

Did not work right out of the box.
Could not get audio from the 3.5mm jack, the only reason I purchased it for. I am sending it back.

Great product!
Great product!! Very easy to setup. I use it to pass a Roku4 to my Yamaha home theater receiver. Works as it should, no problems at all. Video and audio work great.
