Nice
A nice addition to my Christmas tree.

Tail poorly crafted
The bird’s body is fine, but I’m giving 3 stars because the tail has a large opening but only 40 percent of it has the fine ‘threads’ that pretend to be feathers, the rest of the opening is just glue. It does not look good. I’m keeping it because I will place in the back of the tree, but I would say it is not up to Old World expectations.

Beautiful ornament
As one who collects ornaments as a hobby (some very expensive), I can say this is a beautiful ornament. I have purchased a number of this brand of ornaments made by Merck Family Old World Ornaments and can attest you won’t go wrong in purchasing this ornament. It will come packaged safely in an original box.

Sister likes it
I have a sister that has a thing for Northern Cardinals and has numerous cardinal items decorating her house and yard. I knew she would like this one, so I purchased it for her as a Christmas tree ornament. She likes it so much, she said she would display it all year long.

Lovely but not in the best condition on arrival
The feathers of the bird looked terrible like they had been bent and rubbed in the packaging

Delicate, beautifully detailed
I was surprised by the detail with the ornament. It's delicate, so not heavy on the tree. Even the clip to attach the bird to the tree is of good quality. Beautiful.

Beautiful Colours
Since I collect cardinals this was certainly a wonderful addition to my collection. Old World Christmas Glass Blown Ornament Northern Cardinal is a beauty. Not only can you display during Christmas but throughout the year. The colours are beautiful especially with the sparkles to make it festive. Looking forward to adding more of these to my collection.
