Why did you pick this product vs others?:Favorite serum of all time. One of the only skin care items I have reordered over and over. It’s great to layer in the winter time and in summer I often only use this as a moisturizer.

This definitely does feel like it adds some hydration when you put it on, but since this is called a "Deep Hydration Serum" I expected it to be a little MORE hydrating than it is. It's a nice lightweight serum that absorbs quickly, which I liked. But after applying it, my face felt like it needed something more, so I put on some moisturizer. The instructions say "Smooth over cleansed, damp skin. Follow with your favorite serum and moisturizer if desired." Following with moisturizer was a must for me, and I don't have dry skin (I have mostly normal skin, but with a slightly oily T-zone).
