Good primer
Good coverage per can, not flaky, only runs/bubbles if you don’t keep the can moving. Can’t understand why army painter gets so much hate on YouTube.

Great for basing models
I won't use another brand after I found this one, it has great coverage and leaves the fine detail really nicely highlighted making dry brushing so easy and effective.

Good quality primer.
Army painter primers are great for all kinds of miniatures. My one critique of them is how easily you can accidently break the spray nozzle when removing the lid. I've bought 3 cans now and of them two had at least half a can left when the nozzle snapped.

Perfect for base covering large Warhammer figures
We ordered this to base coat a large Orc Mech figure our 11 year old was given for his birthday. It sprayed beautifully, covered well and had very little run off.A lovely deep matt black colour and coverage, enabling detailed painting over the top and accenting.Plemty left in the can after doing 2 coats on the large figure so he will be able to do plenty more figures from the same can.

Time saver
A great time saver if you are painting in bulk or large figures. Needs a couple of coats to ensure full coverage.

The parts that dry properly great, the rest... not so much.
So I've now tried this across a bunch of miniature models and aircraft kits that I've been waiting for this to arrive in order to start.Of the 5 panels of parts for the aircraft kit, only 1 side of 2 panels dried anywhere near to the standard I was expecting from the claims of quality from the product. I followed all of the instructions for use, shake for a minute in clockwise/ counter clockwise motion, spray distance at 15-20cm, use multiple thin coats etc, and yet I still get a weird scale like finish on everything I've painted, more often that not it's drying to a lighter colour than the plastic's original base colour.I will report back once I've had a go at actually painting on top of it, because if it doesn't ruin the paint job then it may somehow be recoverable, but so far this is by far the worst primer I've ever used.
