Intake looks fairly good quality. It passed an 18psi pressure check. Anodizing was perfect.You may have to drill holes in the fuel rail stand if you use common aftermarket injectors to lower the rail height, not too big of a deal, it’s like 16ga aluminum sheet metal.I wouldn’t recommend this intake on naturally aspirated engines. TECHNICALLY it is a square port intake. It is a square port runner all the way down to the injector boss, which then flares out to a cathedral port (like a typical cathedral intake) but the difference is the runner is still square, the injector boss is totally separated from the runner itself and not blended into the runner. I’ve attached a picture for you to see.Running a square port intake on a cathedral head on an n/a engine will obviously work, but with significantly decreased power.Overall an 8/10. When you look at other high ram intake options, the prices are ridiculous. Would other intakes flow a little better? Yes. Would I run this over my Holley high ram on my drag truck? No shot. Did I put this on my turbo LS daily? Absolutely.

Looks good! Came with everything needed! Works and fits like it should. Only thing I didn’t like is how I had to make a throttle cable bracket mounts . Because I’m using short style ls3 injectors with spacers. Still shorter then ls1 ev1 injectors so the rail mounting is different. Had to drill holes in the brackets. If you have long ls1 injectors or use the correct spacing it should work fine. So keep that in mind. Other then that love it

Looks good just gotta get adapter for throttle cause intake only comes in 4 bolt. And wish it came with injectors.

Good intake! Welds were nice and MAP sensor port in the back is perfect to hide wiring. Came with everything needed to install on engine! Really nice anodized black finish!

Bought intake for a 550 approximate horsepower 6.0 Ls brand new had put it on the motor couldn’t get the injector to seal on passenger rear cylinder worked on it several times to get it to seal cycling key what we didn’t know Is that it was a machine issue with the lower oh ring pocket that was dumping the fuel that wasn’t sealing directly into cylinder went to start motor and snapped a rod through the Hydro lock and too much fuel being dumped in motor took intake off the entire head was solid full of fuel that had been dumped into the head from faulty machine workEntire motor needs to be rebuilt re-ring if I can save the block this is at least a $6000 mistake trying to save a few hundred bucks on an intake intake I Called Amazon to find out what could be done but I had bought parts a few months ago Amazon said nothing can be done because the return time is over but I just got the motor running three days ago so I guess I’m out a motor and intake goes in the trash and my build set back weeks.

It doesn't work as a factory replacement. The stock throttle body doesn't fit so you need an adapter. The intake manifold is also lower and more forward than the factory intake. So the water pump needs to be changed or modified. If you use the crossover hose in the front it will interfere with the alternator. I installed it on my 2006 chevrolet tahoe. And because of the design of the intake manifold it has a whistle when running.

I have to do some research how majority of these intakes are made by the same company in China but this one was less expensive so I ordered it to upgrade my gen 4 F body 2002 Trans Am It came in two days . I began to open the box and started going through it and I noticed there was a chemical haze/ film on the whole intake manifold I try to clean it but was not successful , but that wasn’t the biggest issue all of the mounting hardware manifold gasket fuel rail mounting was all missing but the fuel rail was there was not there the fuel rail was there ,, I went back to the website to check what came with and all that stuff is supposed to be there ,,, as stated in the description ..So I contacted Amazon immediately to let them know and the rep was very helpful apologetic and I was just asking do I get hardware she says no return it and will send you another one I said OK.Replacement Arrived this time the unit did not have this weird film / haze on The entire intake manifold all hardware was there so I returned the original intake manifold missing the hardware that I needed I can’t tell you about the performance but I feel pretty confident when I was comparing the original and this intake it looks like it’s gonna be a pretty good install but I can’t say that yet until I start the installation process,I will give you an update on the entire installation process any any tricks and what issues that may occur
