Great Science Fun - Value
The media could not be loaded. Simply one of the coolest items for the money I have ever bought. Tons of energy from one 9 volt battery and magnet.

Cool and scientific great gift
Got this to give as a gift for a friend. My friends a little geeky needy and likes robots and science so I thought this would be a great idea. He loved it. Good quality functions great

Nice, but easy mod makes it virtually perpetual.
This is electronically powered. I found drilling a tiny hole and wiring in a 9v power supply not only let's it go 24/7, it actually is a bit more active compared to using a battery. Just use a power supply that can provide enough amperage. (Not hard. Just at least as much as a 9v battery.) This is all based on the 9 volt version I bought.

Inexpensive...sort of feels that way too.
I only received this item yesterday and it was easy to set up. I tried it first without a battery yesterday before setting it up in my classroom. It works well and drew plenty of questions from my middle school students. This is a great item to mesmerize and soothe. I would recommend this for teachers that do not have students that MUST TOUCH. If they can look, then it will be great. I will try to update this post depending on the true durability including battery life.😁

Super fun!
I got this to model the movements of electrons around a nucleus for a student teaching project. It is so cute I've decided to leave it on my desk permanently! It doesn't make a lot of noise while moving and provided just enough of an attention grabber for the lesson!

Okay for what it is
Makes a little more noise than I was expecting, but it's only noticeable in a quiet environment. A TV program at normal volume is enough to drown out the sound. The battery lasted several non-stop weeks. An on/off switch would have been a great addition. If you want it to stop you either have to take the swinging circle off the cradle or remove the 9 volt battery, which isn't exactly the easiest thing to do. Other than that, it's an okay time-waster.

Cheap junk
Cheap. Arrived with a bent crossbar…mostly plastic and clunky. The metallic paint on some of the plastic balls appeared chipped.
