These are perfect for my standard ceiling vents (14”ish x 4”ish) where no one is going near them. The magnets hold strongly and they redirect the air perfectly (just AC so far, will update if there’s any problem with heat). They are pretty flimsy though, my guess is they’d fall apart easily on a floor or wall vent that is in a high traffic area or could be bumped into.

These products are pretty flimsy. They’re constructed in such a way it’s very difficult to get them to stay onto the vent. The magnets are not very strong.

These were easy to put together but if you bump it on the floor the wrong way, they can pop apart pretty easily. My kids have stepped on them a couple times and they haven't broken, so I do think they are quite sturdy. My biggest issue with them is that the magnets can pop out easily. So in all of the times I have gotten cold and want to move it, when you pull it up off a metal vent cover, the magnets usually stay behind. This isn't a huge deal, but more of an annoyance. This tells me that the quality of these are mediocre. They do work as intended though and cover the vents and help blow the air out into the room helping our older house get better circulated AC an heat. I just wish the magnets could stay with the vent itself when I decide to move it around. I do wish both halves stayed together easier as well. Overall though, I do like them and would recommend them as good vent covers to use. I'm not sure finding better quality vent covers are out there. This plastic on these are pretty thick and durable. So in my opinion it's worth it to get the more durable covers with loose magnets than get cheaper less durable ones where the plastic can break easier.

The air vents direct where you want the air to go and they have magnets that hold where you put them. Great value for the money

They do the job but I have floor vents and the plastic is so cheap and flimsy that I am sure if someone steps on it or kicks it on accident it will be broken beyond use. Not worth $5.00 each.

(Easily manufacturable under $3)Build quality:Plastic is mediocre at best, most likely not designed to last forever, time will tell.The magnets are sandwiched between two pieces of metal and placed in predetermined slots, they are not glued in place.Because the product relies on tension to hold the magnets in place instead of a glue, one of the magnets was slightly out of scope and easily falls out.Two simple manufacturer solutions would be to either apply an adhesive or glue that can stand high temperatures; or to design a place for the metal to be inserted from the top and the magnet to be strong enough to be attracted with the plastic in between.The plastic shells come in two pieces where one slots into the other. The slot is small and the two halves can easily come apart. Should the tab be slightly taller this wouldn't be a problem.
