Muson Waterproof Vehicle Rear View Backup Camera with Night Vision 170 Degree

If you need a back up camera, this is a small, easy to wire one. It has ok definition and detail on a LCD (purchased separately). It runs on standard 12V vehicle wiring. It has a colored lines display showing how close the object (trailer hitch, car, person, etc.) is getting to the camera. The colored display lines cannot be removed, so if you want to use it for other than backing up, it is less useful.

We used this along with a Pioneer AvBT something. Works great. Mounted it "upside down" from the picture shown just above the license and it works exactly as expected. Nightime vision is just fine.

Seriously? I ordered this unit because I absolutely hated the one that hooks on to the license plate frame. So this was a great sleek look right? Guess what the unit you will actually get is! You guessed it, that ugly license plate frame unit! This is false advertising and should be taken down! Now when I'm ready to have my new stereo installed, guess what I don't have? A backup camera. Thanks a freaking lot! But hey Amazon offers free pick up and returns.

The media could not be loaded.  My husband wanted to get one of this a year after we had our car but they were charging us 800 dollars so I said no, I don’t want to pay 800 dollars, so I was glad to find something like this.It is very small, waterproof so it will be ok to use even if it’s raining.It came with a small paper manual on how to do it if it’s a do it yourself or if you are bringing this to the mechanic.I know nothing about cars, I just recently learned to drive so I asked him about this one, he looked at it and told me it looks like a universal type and can be put to any car depending on how long the cords are.There are two ways where you can attach this, one to a GPS system, we already have one installed in our car so that should be easy.The second one, you can connect it to your portable DVD player.It still took him about a day to do it though. I never looked, he just told me it was all done.Now I wish we had this when I took my driving exam.Three point turn isn’t exactly easy for me so I didn’t fail it but points were taken away from me because I didn’t back far enough.All is well though, now backing up won’t be a problem anymore.*Disclaimer : I received this product for free in exchange for an honest review.
