Safety 1st featuring Mombella Ollie Octopus Teether, Yellow, Small

My infant had a tongue tie and the therapist recommended toys with long, skinny pieces to get him to stimulate and use the back of his tongue (most baby toys can only be chewed on at the front of the mouth). He LOVVVES this octopus! It does seem to pick up dirt and pet hair pretty quickly due to the little nubs on the legs, but the nubs also stimulate the mouth in exactly the right way so that's a small price to pay. I have not tried putting it in the dishwasher but that's one option to keep it clean.Another plus is that this is super light and will not hurt a 3-month-old who has trouble holding toys. We've had six months now though, and baby still adores it.

I bought a bunch of different teething toys for my four month old little man, and this is by far his favorite. The material is soft enough for his gums and the narrow neck makes it easy for him to grasp with his little hands. He literally will chew on this for hours!My only complain is that it has a hole at the bottom so when you wash it water tends to get sucked into the toy, which isn't the most hygienic.

Our three month old started teething early and doesn't care for many of the traditional teething toys as they're too hard to hold, too big for her mouth, and too tough to chew on. The softness of this silicone seems to be just right. Other reviews complain of hair sticking to it, but that's been my experience with any teething toy or pacifier. It's easy to toss in the dishwasher basket so I'm not bothered by it.

We got this for my one year old daughter when it was clear her other teethers were not reaching the teeth that were coming in farther back in her mouth. She will sit with this hanging out of her mouth while playing with other toys. Definitely recommend for babies that are beyond the first front teeth coming in.

By daughter has been teething for a while, since she was three months. I have gone through some teethers trying to see which ones she can crab, which ones she likes. Since she is teething so early, I thought this would be a good fit. She can easily pick this toy up and put it in her mouth. It is squishy and soft, it reminds me of a nasal bulb from the hospitals. It’s the size of your hand so it’s a pretty good size, but very light. She loves this thing, she chews on it a long time

This product is like the Sophie the giraffe, and by saying that I mean it’s not safe because it’s got a “squeak Toy” kind of hole, Where Drool could easily be trapped. This toy is also very soft, So it does not seem truly effective for teething. I had purchased hoping it would be sort of like the teething egg, I was very wrong.

The design is like one of those Bath rubber ducks with with a hole in the bottom, the kind where Water gets stuck inside, turns to mold, and you end up throwing it away. It’s cute but so impractical. My son likes it but i can’t imagine we’ll have it for long. I wouldn’t buy it again.

This is one of my daughter's favorite toys. She can easily hold it, even though she don't have full function of her little fingers yet. (3 months old) She holds it upside down and loves to chew on the tentacles. It's nice that the tentacles surround the toy, because then she doesn't have to be as precise to get it in her mouth.
