Excellent Name, Great Batteries
Greetings to the folks at Digital Goja,I have been buying the Vivitar name ever since the age of 18. I am 55 now. From lenses to filters, and now batteries, Vivitar products live up to their name.I bought these batteries based on the name of their company and the price. As I suspected, they live up to their name. I really don't know much about batteries other than we need them to make certain items work. I do know that Lithium batteries do not develop a memory and will hold a charge for a long time. My spouse constantly takes many photographs and videos of our grandsons daily. My wife has had Vivitar 1700mAh battery in her Canon Powershot SX280HS for 8 days now. Thanks for a great and timely delivery too.David F.Addendum:My wife has had some trouble with new her camera. I bought her a Canon Powershot SX280HS. If anyone has read the reviews, they know that the low battery light comes on when the record button is pressed even for a few seconds. Canon has a firmware fix on their website. We applied that fix to her camera. Since then it has worked no differently as when I bought it for her. Canon wrote to me saying: We're sorry for the problems you're having with your camera. The camera was not the problem. The power source that was in my camera at the time was a Canon 1000mAh battery that was with the camera when we bought it. I changed that 1000mAh Canon battery for the 1700mAh Vivitar battery, from Digital Goja. Since the day of her birthday, it was in the camera for a total of 10 days before I swapped it out for charging.David F.Addendum:This my second time purchasing from Digital Goja. When I bought my wife the new camera for her birthday in Feb. 2014, I obtained only two of the batteries shown here. We've taken thousands of photos and short videos using them. I personally have been using Vivitar products 40 years. I'm now 58. They've never to let me down. I bought four new batteries this time. We couldn't be happier with our procurement. They were ordered on 6/12/16 and were received on 6/14/16. Excellent products and service. We couldn't be happier.Thank You.

Not the same as they were in the past.
Ehhh, that's really what I have to say about these. I bought a Canon SX700HS open-box from Best Buy at a great price, but it came without a charger or a battery, and since I gave my mom my old SX700HS, I had no NB-6LHs or NB-6Ls anymore. I have Vivitar NB-5Ls for my S110 and NB-10Ls for my SX50, and I've also bought the NB-6LHs before, for the old SX700HS. These, however, are not up to par. They seemed to drain really quickly and I could barely get 100 shots each, without flash, using the same settings, not adjusting zoom, or anything, mostly taken in succession, when I used to easily be able to get 300+ shots. I know I can do that with the NB-5L, and that is a similarly-sized battery. This is supposed to be a 1700 mAh battery, but it's not performing like it.I had to return the SX700HS, because I was comparing to my S110, since I thought the colors were off, and the return period was about to expire (yay open-box and not "ruining" a new camera, right? Too bad I couldn't afford to keep it!). Then, right after, I found an open-box S120, YES! That also takes the NB-6LH, and now I know it's the batteries themselves and not the camera draining the batteries, since this camera is eating them even more quickly, which makes sense, since it's a little more power-hungry than an SX700HS in general. Now I don't think I'm even getting 100 shots, so I'm going to swallow the cost of an OEM Canon...until I go to my parents' house for Thanksgiving in a few weeks and steal back one of 2-3 OEMs that I gave my mom (they live 1400 miles away or I'd just go take one from her!).

Great batteries as long as they are working!
These batteries are great as long as they are working. I had a string of them that wouldn't hold a charge. THANKFULLY the company did send me an extra pack completely free, but I think it wound up being 3 of the 6 batteries I received from them that wouldn't hold a charge. Especially sucky when you're in the field, going to take a picture of your first fall warbler of the day, and the camera with a fresh battery in it says "charge the battery" and shuts down.I will still buy these again in the future. Even with the problem they were quick to send me new batteries, and didn't drag their feet about it. The working ones do hold a charge all day, and I am pretty hard on them- constantly turning my Canon PowerShot SX520HS on and off, zooming in and out, and having it on for extended periods of time to try and catch my subjects (I'm into bird photography if you didn't guess).

Disappointing
My batteries seemed to be discharging faster than usual so I thought I needed some replacements. Unfortunately, the 5 yr old battery that came with my camera lasts twice as long as the brand new batteries I received.

Very happy! Plus updated trick for extending battery life of Canon S120!
These batteries are a great price compared to Canon's. I have a Canon S120 which basically eats battery power quite ravenously so extra batteries are a must. I chose these because they are a brand I know of compared to other similarly priced or cheaper batteries that were also available on Amazon. I am happy with this purchase. The seller shipped promptly and my package arrived on time and in the condition described. If I have to buy more batteries I would buy these again as they work comparably to the original Canon batteries and better than an extra one I received as part of the accessory set I got when I bought my camera. Very happy. This is a helpful tip or trick I've learnt about extending the life of the Canon S120 battery. Apparently this quick dying battery is a flaw of the S120. If the battery dies on you during a photo op, pop it out of the camera and hold down the power button for one minute with the battery chamber empty. Put the battery back in and turn it on. You will find that the battery will have a little more life in it and you can get a few more pictures or video before it dies on you again!

I've used each unit out of the 2 pack and battery life seems fair enough for my needs though I haven't been paying a great deal
I chose Vivitar out of brand recognition over the completely cheap no-name batteries. For the price, the two pack was still substantially cheaper than manufacturer's replacement for my Canon SX700.After 4 months: I've used each unit out of the 2 pack and battery life seems fair enough for my needs though I haven't been paying a great deal of attention. As long as I get a reasonable amount of backup time out of them for my use (around 200-400 photos and around 4 videos (~2min each) per month then I'll be happy. So far so good.

So far a higher capacity than the stock battery despite being lower quality in build - I guess the thinner plastic is so it could fit in more cells. Both batteries look misshapen as a result. Not sure if this will effect the lifetime of the batteries but only time will tell.

Good price (brand new canon batteries are $40) - I got 2 for $20. Granted, they do not last as long, but great for carrying a cheap spare around.

Fast shipping; product is as advertised
The life of the batteries may not be as long as the Canon original, but they're still a great value.
