Worked exactly as advertised
I love this! I'm using a Macbook Air with an M2 chip that supports only one external monitor. This product works like a dream and allows me to support two external monitors after a simple installation of software. It wasn't clear to me from the documentation that this supports two totally separate desktops, rather than being a single desktop stretched over two monitors. Not only that, but the software utility that comes with it supports screen rotation (90, 180, and 270 degrees), which is better than I expected. Each external monitor can be rotated according to preference, so I now have one monitor in portrait mode beside a second monitor in standard landscape mode. It's perfect! Faultless. I'm delighted.

Works flawlessly
The latest crop of M1 and M2 MacBook Air laptops frustratingly only support 1 external monitor. This thing lets you cost-effectively beat that restriction by allowing you to connect your Mac to 2 external monitors. You simply plug your screens into the two HDMI ports (or display ports - it has two of each) on the device, and plug the device's USB-C cable into your Mac. Install what is an unobtrusive DisplayLink driver (from Synaptics, who have been around for donkeys years) and you'll have two external screens which you manage via the built-in MacOS System Settings app. It works a treat. I can't detect any drop-off in picture quality or lag. It also comes with a 2 year guarantee. There are no other ports on the device, so you can't connect other USB devices to it, but it does exactly what to says on the tin at a very attractive price point. My only (slight) criticism is the device comes with a ridiculously short USB cable. I've ended up buying an extension cable to enable me to hide the box under the desk a few feet away from my Mac, just to keep my workspace uncluttered.

Saviour for M1 Macbook
I have 2 identical Acer monitors with USB-C/Thunderbolt connectors which are great for the Macbook since they provide power, video, and USB hub all from one cable. I have been happily using 1 monitor for ages and niaively I thought since the MBP has two thunderbolt connectors I could just plug the other one in and it would work. It doesn't: M1 MBP only supports one external monitor for some strange reason. So I bought this, installed the DisplayLink driver and it works great. So I have the original monitor plugged in via Thunderbolt, I use a USB-A port on the back of the monitor to plug this box in with a HDMI cable to the other monitor and it all works well. I could even add a 3rd monitor using the other HDMI port but don't need it. Resolution is great at the monitor's native 2560 x 1440 and no problem with refresh. The monitor shows up in the Apple settings so you can arrange it and power save works too. All round great product, if expensive.

My answer is here…
Got a MacBook and want more screens??? Here is your answer. Got a Mac M1 Pro 2021 could only add 2 external monitors and came across this for a 3rd monitor. It does the job (jus remember your download displaylink driver to your computer) very well. Also comes with a usb 3.0 adapter for those without usb-c i.e windows pcsThe downside is it has a very short usb-c cable thus cluttering my work space but not as bad. For the price i wish there were extra usb ports too.

3 screens on M2 Mac Book Pro
Spent almost a week researching and then gave this a go. Was super easy to set up, works well, great picture quality, sound on both external monitors. It works seamlessly and I am incredibly happy with it. Seems to easy and good to be true given the amount of stuff I was reading on the forums during my research. It’s a bit expensive but you get what you pay for. If I had to offer negative points I have had to by an extension usbc to ensure the ugly box does not sit on top of my desk but under.

Great for work laptop
Needed something to work with work windows laptop as was impossible to do anything on such a tiny screen. Need to install driver first but works really well, can now extend my desktop across 2 extra DP connected screens at 3840x2160 resolution. This is the 3rd type of extender have tried and while a bit pricey was the only one that worked without compromising on the screen resolution. I would have liked some extra usb ports but that's my only concern. Well worth the purchase.

Worked out of the box and then stopped working
Finally got it workin and even had Remote Desktop spanning the 2 extenddd machines. Then after a restart of MacBook it just won’t connect.Extremely frustrating as this seems to be the only product that helps with the non extendable mac restriction.

It works!!!!
Very easy and quick installation, step by step guide is great! It works perfectly with two extended monitors on MacBook Pro M2 13 inch 2022. Looks great and size is good too. The connection cable could be a bit longer to be able to hide it for a cleaner desk but I am happy with it! A little pricey but worth it!
