Farmina Natural And Delicious Low-Grain Formula Dry Dog Food, 5.5-Pound, Cod And Orange

It is such a struggle, trying to figure out which food is the best to feed your pets. There are so many different brands, and much conflicting information on what is good, what isn't. Then there are the veterinarians, who generally push Hills/Science Diet, or maybe Purina (mine have always recommended Hills special diets). Yet when you look at the ingredients you see that they are of no higher quality than those you find in the grocery store aisle. What to do?Based on the good reviews of Farmina's products on various websites, and after reviewing the ingredients, and reading and reading and reading about this and other high quality low-grain (and non grain) dry foods, I decided to give this a try. I spent a little over a month gradually adding this kibble to my dog's old brand, and now she is fully on Farmina. And loving it! She's always had a some digestion issues, loose stools, and this occurred during the switch over. However, she seems to have stabilized once again. I do give her probiotics once a day with her food and that has helped her a lot.This is not inexpensive food, but neither are some of the other brands that have meat byproducts and meal and corn and all those other low quality ingredients. For me, the health and well-being of my pets is far more important than saving a few dollars.I'll modify this review should anything change, but so far, I'm very pleased and happy I switched to Farmina. I switched my cats over to their cat formula too.

This is definitely a high quality dog food, so I tried it for my dog. Apparently, she does not like the taste of fish much because she didn't take to this nor Merrick's Salmon and Sweet Potato kibble. The food however, is loaded with nutrition and flavor, and won't go to waste - my cats prefer this to their favorite cat chow! Cats wouldn't be interested in the food if it didn't contain sufficient nutrients for them as they are pretty strictly carnivores by instinct whereas dogs are carnivorous cum omnivorous. I let my cats eat this mixed with their regular "Cat" kibble.

I accidentally bought this instead of the grain free, but my dog loves it. I checked the ingredients and looks like I may stick with it since she likes it so much. I like that it's made in Italy, where veterinarian care is a tax deduction, so it's not profitable for them to allow pet food companies to put profit over health.

I do not normally feed dry food but this one is really different from other dry foods. A different method is used by Farmina ...the dogs love it and it is a great supplemental food I can feel comfortable offering.

This is truly a great product. The kibble shape is rather large and great as a snack for my dogs who love this! Not sure about the digestion as of yet, I'm sure they will have to get used to it more, but def. impressed with the quality! Use also Fromm, Horizon, Victor and Annaemat with success as well.

Really good quality food. My dog loved it. No issues with her stomach from it. It is medium sized kibble. Good for a larger dog.

Easy to chew and digest. My dog loves it. Does have a slight "fishy" odor.

Arrived quickly & as expected! This is a fantastic food to feed your canine friend! I alternate between all the proteins available.

,my lil buddy goes crazy for a bit of this stuff,he seems to be more energetic, and his coat seems to be at a all time best and yup i have read reviews and it is perhaps the best quality food you can buy here!!! Hvnt had any issues with these!!

Dog likes it and appears to be the healthiest dog food.Even though it is a bit expensive

Very good quality by company and my dog growth is very good and healthy, but cost is very high
