My Switch to Safety Razors and Why You Should Too
I've been using cartridge razors for as long as I can remember, and I've always hated the whole shaving routine. I found myself spending a small fortune on cartridges from various big brands but was never truly satisfied with the results.Frustrated with the constant expense, I stumbled upon 'Safety Razors' by chance. Initially, I was hesitant due to horror stories about deep cuts and my own doubts about using them safely. If you share these concerns, don't worry. Safety razors are actually quite safe, and I haven't cut myself at all. If you're nervous, watch a tutorial, take your time, and enjoy the process. I went all in and bought a package set that included a brush, foam, and soap to find what I preferred, and so far, I’m not disappointed. In fact, I’m actually enjoying shaving for the first time.Shaving with a safety razor doesn't cause pulling or skin irritation, and I feel great afterward—something I've been missing for years! Plus, the razors are genuinely beautiful to look at, and I let the weight of the handle do all the work.I highly recommend safety razors, especially the King C Gillette, which I’m using. The handle has a lovely weight, is well-made, and looks expensive!Take the plunge and help reduce plastic waste. A pack of 100 razors costs less than £10 and will last about 12 months.

Great quality shave for a low budget
Was after another manual shaver, and something that wouldn't cost an arm and a leg to maintain. The razor has a nice weight to it and feels comfortable to hold and 5 blades included in the box.Blades are easy to add/remove to the razor and have a quality feel about them.I used the razor with a Bulldog clear shave gel which helped to reduce any friction and irritation. The cut was perfect on the initial pass removing stubble 2mm-3mm thick, shaving continued with lots of small passes.Only a couple of minor nicks from not having used a double edge razor previously, but the quality of the shave has pleased me greatly.Value for money I don't think I'd do much better to find something of this quality cheaper, and in the long run will save a considerable amount on paying nearly £14 for a pack of 8 blades vs half that for 100 from well known brands.

A Gentleman's First Choice: Perfect Razor for Beginners!
I recently had the privilege of trying out the King C Gillette razor, and I must say, I'm thoroughly impressed. As a grooming enthusiast, I've dabbled in various razors, but this one has genuinely won me over, particularly for those just starting their wet shaving journey. The first thing that struck me was the mildness of the King C Gillette razor. For beginners, the fear of nicks and cuts can often be a stumbling block, but this razor's design seems almost tailored to mitigate that concern. The blade's exposure is just right, offering a close shave without the excessive aggression that can lead to mishaps. It's like a gentle guide that ensures a smooth experience without the anxiety of accidental injuries.Ease of use is where the King C Gillette razor truly shines. The intuitive design means that even if you're new to wet shaving, you'll find yourself wielding it with confidence in no time. The weight is perfectly balanced, allowing for precise control and manoeuvrability. And speaking of control, the handle design, while commendable in terms of aesthetics, might be a bit of an issue for some users. Here's where the razor does have a small drawback. The handle, though visually appealing with its classic design, might pose a challenge for individuals with conditions like arthritis or difficulties gripping hard objects. The heavy handle lacks the texturing or knurling that some might need for a secure grip, making it slightly slippery when wet. However, this is a minor concern that can be managed with some creativity, like using a silicone grip or holding it closer to the head.In terms of overall performance, the King C Gillette razor leaves nothing to be desired. It offers a consistently smooth shave, whether you're maintaining a beard, shaving closely, or just tidying up around the edges. It's versatile, forgiving, and reliable – qualities that make it an excellent choice for beginners who are looking to master the art of wet shaving.TL:DR; the King C Gillette razor is an exceptional grooming tool for those embarking on their shaving journey. Its mildness, ease of use, and beginner-friendly qualities make it a standout option. Just keep in mind that if you struggle with gripping or have conditions like arthritis, you might need to adapt your technique to ensure a secure hold on the somewhat weighty handle. But that's a small price to pay for the impeccable shaving experience this razor provides. Highly recommended!

A great all round safety razor
The item arrived packaged well as always. The safety razor is good quality and gives a very close shave. It does come with blades to get you started. The handles is long and comfortable and I highly recommend this for anyone who wants to save money on shaving.

For quick shave
Well packaged, in the box is a shiny razor and some razor blades. The razor itself is of reasonable weight, well made. There are 3 pieces and the top two disassemble from the handle. Thinking about it would have preferred a butterfly style. It does need to be given a rinse in water whilst shaving because it does get clogged up.This is a great razor for a quick and a reasonably close shave. Having said that, it's probably impossible to nick or cut yourself with this razor.Id say it is a mild to medium aggressive shave.Overall for the discounted price of £13 it's a bargain. Would recommend even at it's full price.

Good for Quick shave, Not so for a full shave
Nice quality razor for a quick shave, however, I felt and saw that even after 2 passes the razors just were not removing all the hairs down to as small as I wanted for a full clean shave but I will give this another go before deciding my final review.
