EMDMAK Survival Kit Outdoor Emergency Gear Kit for Camping Hiking Travelling or Adventures

Fantastic little kit! Bought it for a car camping cross-country trip. On our dry run weekend trip I busted out the wire saw to cut up campfire wood because we forgot our axe! It's reassuring to know we have these supplies in case we forget anything or in a pinch. Not necessarily a survivalist kit but definitely worth having for front country camping trips.

It is always good to keep an survival kit in your home. Never know when the zombies will come. It's necessary when camping, hiking, hunting, biking, climbing, traveling, adventures, survival and in emergency situation. Also great for a gift.

My nine-year-old was really into survival and survival kits and this was a good starter kit for him. He really likes it and is found ways to use a variety of different things in it.

Very cheap and affordable and it has the very basics for survival needs. Got this for a small bug out bag in case of emergency. Quality is very good too for the price.

Firestarter, compass, blanket, saw, and carrying case were all better quality than I was expecting at this price. The carrying case has 4 clips with a rubber o-right seal that would probably keep things dry in any conditions short of complete submersion. The steel card multi tool is too small to be useful as a wrench (I don't see nuts that small day to day), but the can opener, saw, and knife edges would do what they're meant to. The multi-tool pliers feel a little cheap, but are definitely sturdy enough for occasional use. The flashlight was brighter than I expected. Whistle is loud, and made of plastic with a tiny compartment.This is good value for the price. Everything in here is worth it's weight to carry around. I added the following items which all easily fit into the included case: Iodine water tablets for up to 25 quarts, 2nd mylar blanket (to use as a shelter), 10 ft 550 paracord, fire tinder in waterproof bag, steri-strips, adhesive bandages. This will go into my day-hike pack along with a solar/crank powered cell phone charger/flashlight.

nice little kit to have when you're trekking in the forested areas of the US which is what i did in Tennessee this past september. i bought this just in case of an emergency but haven't used it yet; but very nice to have if needed.

I mostly purchased this for the case which is advertised as waterproof. I assumed that it meant it would be of a certain quality. This case, unfortunately, is really really cheap. By waterproof they mean it is plastic, and doesn't soak up water, because water definitely gets into the case. It is not sealed.The compass feels like I could crush it in my hand easier than an aluminum can.The toolcard is the SAME dang tool card I have like four of now from things like this.The multitool functions. Has a good saw on it, a working decent LED light, and good plyer design, but has a knife with a BLUNT blade, and weak plyer spring.My girlfriend asked what the saw was, so I pulled it out of the bag and it broke as I was unwinding it. There was never going to be any sawing going on with it ever. The metal clips holding the saw to the keyrings were not tight enough.The whistle is compact, functional and has a little compartment and keychain. It whistles. Probably the best thing in this pack...I never tried the firestarter, but it seems like your basic cheap firestarter set.I didn't test the emergency blanket...I liked the little nylon sheathe for the multitool. Even though the belt loop is only 1 1/2 inch wide, I wondered if it was as cheap as others I have seen or tried to use like it, so I gave it a tug and laughed as the threads easily came loose. It was awful too.
