Perfect size for detail painting. Value is good and they appear to keep their shape and they work great with my painting.

I just now got these recently but I’m already very happy with them since I’ve painted with them a few times! I actually use these when I’m painting gel nails to carefully get around the cuticle area and side walls or paint small details. They truly are soft but in the right way, they hold the paint well and distribute it well while keeping their shape. I did accidentally cure one of them but I’ve managed to revive it without ruining the brush. I got these since they said they’re ’faux squirrel hair’. As a vegan I can’t use actual sable hair or anything similar so I was intrigued to try these (I’d always heard squirrel hair brushes were really good). I highly recommend these!! Great for small details for painting gel nails! Or any nail art for that matter, I’m sure they’d be great for painting acrylic.

Having not done any drawing or painting in over 50 years, I decided I needed to start doing some. Having acquired a variety of "normal" sized paint brushes and ink pens, I realized that I find working on very small things to be far less intimidating...which means I need smaller brushes and pens. Well, smaller working bits on brushes and pens.I have been working in a sketchbook for practice and play rather than on proper watercolor paper. The attached drawing was my first sketch, using an Edding 1880 Drawliner 0.1 then painting it with one of these brushes over the ink. Regular sized paperclip is for scale reference.These brushes are comfortable to hold, easy to work with and easy to clean. I am happy enough with these Nicpro brushes that I have some others of their brushes in my shopping cart waiting to check out. I can tell which of the five same size brushes I used because the ink imprint of the brush number and brand name are wearing off. As long as the function of the brush itself isn't impacted and I have the remaining brushes as reference for the size, I'm okay with that.

Haven't used them yet but they will be perfect for my detail painting. Having quality brushes makes a huge difference in performance.

Loved when they were brand new right out of the package. Easy to hold and control the brush. Unfortunately they haven't held up...Able to use brush on one painting before it began to fray and split.

My kids are all now in high school and I read somewhere to keep doing all the things you enjoyed doing with them and one of them was painted by number.However, the paintbrushes they include in these kits are crap. I ordered these to be able to paint within the lines better!And you can tell from my picture which ones I used this paintbrush and where I used the paintbrush that came with my paint by number!Overall, great product for a simple use! Not sure about the long-term quality or anything like that, but it works for paint by number!
