Summit’s shoulder backpack straps provides suspension support while packing your stand out of the woods, letting you hike long distances without the strap cutting into your shoulder. The tether strap allows for ease of climbing when ascending and descending from the tree. The bungee tether and backpack strap attach easily to any climbing tree stand.

Love anything made by Summit
I replaced the strap that came with my Summit Viper (2009 model) with this one and it came with my new (2014) Viper SD. I am ordered three more sets to use on my hang-on stands. I like the bungee action of the straps because it does not cut into your shoulders like the older straps. The bungee tether strap is a must for any two-piece climbing stand because you will not get that sudden stop when going up like you do with a non-bungee tether. The cinch straps can be used on anything... I use them to help secure the stands so they are not banging around and making unnecessary noise when carrying them (it annoys me). Last years strap held up through rain, sleet, freezing and hot/dry temps with no dry rotting so far.

Much better!
Much better than the straps that came with my Summit Tree Stand. The bungee in the strap definitely adds comfort. They seem a little tight at first but once you break them in they're great. Having a quality strap makes it much easier to carry my stand and gear into the woods. The material is durable and the adjustment pieces at the bottom hold well. I would recommend this product to anyone that has a Summit Tree Stand that came with the basic shoulder straps.

Both are improvements, but take some getting used to.
I have an older Summit climber that had their old straps and tether. I was really tired of the tether getting caught between the jaws and the tree. This looked like a good solution. For the most part it is, but it is much shorter than the old tether. The problem with this is that you really have to carefully manage the bungee tether while you are putting it on and taking it off the tree. The old tether was long enough that you could get way with having it looped outside the steel cables, not so with the bungee. It has to be inside or you're going to have trouble. Once on the tree, sometimes I can feel it pulling the pieces together when I get them really stretched out.The bungee backpack straps are an improvement. It took some getting used to, but now I feel like I can actually tighten them up so the straps are stretched around me, seems to hold tighter that way. Being stretchy can also make it easier to get the straps over my arms and up on my shoulders.

Wish I found this sooner.
These are the greatest things I've ever used. My stand feels lbs lighter and doesn't dig into my shoulders if I strap my backpack onto it. I wish i had found these years ago. I was skeptical about the tether and can't speak to its longevity but it seems like it's got plenty of stretch and I'm 6'1" and it's plenty long. I highly recommend this to anyone who uses a climber. For the price you would be crazy not to.

2 Bungees are better than 1
I bought this pack only for the spare bungee cord. Makes using my climbing stand (Summit Viper SD) so much safer having 2 cords hooked to the bottom platform as opposed to just 1. I tested "dropping" the platform from 8 feet up, which resulted in it dropping straight down as opposed to hanging off to the side. I highly recommend this product before going off in the woods.

These straps make lugging your stand SO MUCH more comfortable because the have a "bungee" like stretch to them ...
I bought these as replacements for the standard straps that came with my Summit climber 5 years ago. These straps make lugging your stand SO MUCH more comfortable because the have a "bungee" like stretch to them that makes a huge difference while walking. The straps do not dig into your shoulders like the original ones. For anyone who carries their climber into the woods these are a must have.

Best Straps!
I have an X-Stand climber and hated the strap set up the stand. I wanted a set of dedicated straps and am sooooo glad I ordered these. I obviously had to rig it different than a summit stand, but once I figured it out it works great. The stand is less than 20lbs, and these straps make carrying it a breeze. Best Straps Ever!!!

Great
They're backpack straps and they work very well. Made carrying one of my stands very comfortable and I was able to carry everything in one trip versus the two I was making in the past.
