I had previously ordered this pillow case for a gift for my mom. I was impressed by the higher momme number, 25, since the typical is only 19. Actually, I had to look up the definition for “momme.” For silk, the higher the “momme,” the higher the quality/softness. I feel it’s similar to how higher thread count sheets are better. Anyways, my mom raved about it. However, I didn’t get to see it for myself until I ordered it for my teenage daughter. It was nicely tissue wrapped inside a very sturdy gift worthy navy box (6-8” square???) with their name embossed on the lid. On top of the gold tissue seal was tasteful cards stating the company’s quality standards and care instructions. The pillow case is super soft, and the color she got was a pretty light blue. Also, I liked the mostly concealed side zipper (crease folder on opposite side and sewn seams on the long sides). I imagine the pillow would otherwise slide right out, since both sides are silk. My daughter loved from the moment she felt it. Now, I want one, since I hear it is helpful in the fight against wrinkles and a frizz preventer for curly hair.

This thing is awesome! I tried a pillowcase from another brand after purchasing this one, and the difference in the feel between the two was unbelievable. This one is like 10x better than the other brand. I'm not really familiar with silk or anything, but I think that the fact that this one is actually "100% silk" makes a big difference. The other one was "silk" but satin on the back, but even the silk portion felt nothing like this one. If you're going to choose between this and another brand, choose this one! It's well worth the extra money.

Update: my skin looks more refreshed and rested after sleeping a few nights on this pillow case! One more reason to buy another! I have decided to gift my entire family with silk pillow cases this year. I have a male family member who has thinning hair and a beard. I gave him his gift early and he loves this pillow case the same as me! It holds up to his beard and help his skin and hair!I love this pillow case! It is more substantial than others at 19 or 21 momme. The 25 is more of all the great things in the lesser weight. I recommend this brand over some others. I have tried several and I think this is the best for your money. I noticed my hair fell out less than when I slept on my beloved cotton. I also noticed that when I am cold it feels warm, yet when I am warm, it feels cool!?! I love it! The zipper is well placed and sturdy. Only time will tell if my wrinkles improve or not, but my hair loves it! It is easy to roll up and take on a trip. I won’t sleep without it!

I can't believe how much better and softer my hair is. I used to wake up to a rat's nest.. Lots of broken hair too. I bought this as suggested by a hairdresser.. I can't wait for my broken hair to be a thing of the past!! Thank u!! Came in a cute little box with washing instructions 😌😌

I bought two of these to be able to change out. I was not disappointed!They came in a beautiful box and the pillow case was wrapped in tissue with a Thank You sticker. Nice touch!They have the history and care instructions printed in a beautiful little brochure.These pillow cases are so soft and comfortable and very well put together! It has been so nice not to wake up hot because of a man made satin pillow case. These are very comfortable and my hair and skin are showing the difference. If you are hesitant about buying these, I would say life is to short not to take care of yourself. With proper care, these should last on long time.I would highly recommend and would buy again.

Read many reviews and decided to give this a try. I like that it does not 'frizzle' my hair! I have a tendency to move around during the night and this keeps my hair comfortably in place as opposed to cotton pillow cases that leave my hair sticking up all over!

I hand washed it inside-out in cool water with SOAK rinse-free fine washables soap, and rinsed it with cool water with a few drops of hair conditioner as the instructions recommended. I also squeezed it dry in a rolled up towel as recommended, shook it out, and put it on my wooden drying rack to dry. It washed well, kept its sheen, and was virtually wrinkle free when I turned it right side out and put it on my pillow. It is comfortable to sleep on, but nothing really special that I can think of. I have only slept on it for three nights. It does not seem to make any difference to my hair or facial skin at this point, but I should point out that I wear a c-pap face mask when I sleep. For the price, a good investment. I have never slept on a silk pillowcase before,and am curious as to how this compares to the more pricey ones.

Item came as expected. I misunderstood the size when ordering and got a queen when I have a king pillow but that is my own fault. Just be sure you're watching the size closely. So far I've really liked the silk pillowcase. It is soft and very pretty. I have noticed less hair falling at night due to the pillowcase. It is on the pricier side, but I feel it is worth it compared to the quality of other inexpensive silk pillowcases I have seen.

Within 2 days of sleeping on it I started getting hives on my neck and shoulders. I don’t know if it’s the dye that they use or the “silk” but I had to throw it out. Very disappointed.
