This is the absolute best supplement I've found for controlling gout. Not only does routinely taking this prevent gout attacks, but taking 2 at a time greatly reduces the time of recovery during a gout flare up. If I forget to take these for a few days and my diet is bad, I will sometimes start to have a gout flare-up. Taking these alleviates the situation quickly. I've been paying very close attention to my body since my first gout attack several years ago, and I've tried many different methods to control it. Everyone who has been battling gout knows that tart cherry has a positive effect, but this blend of tart cherry and other ingredients really does take it to a new level.

Ok folks, these work. The swelling in my legs are gone. I walk easier. I don't wake up in aching pains. I recommend them. I wish i had found them years eatlier.

Alerna's Uric Acid Support is a daily essential in our routine to prevent a gout attack for more than 8 years. With my medical background, I continue to research the latest recommendations. Other essentials are proper hydration, regular exercise, reduced purine intake-especially beer- shrimp- oysters-crab, attention to restful sleep, AND the addition of Alerna Tart Cherry tablets. Our routine for PREVENTION: one Uric Acid tablet daily and two Tart Cherry tablets; for ACUTE attacks: one Uric Acid tablet twice daily and two Tart Cherry Tablets twice a day. This routine reduced the frequency and severity of attacks. There have been no further exacerbations since initiation of prescribed Allopurinol daily with one Uric Acid tablet and two Tart Cherry tablets .

I’ve tolerated the supplement with no adverse side effects, unlike traditional Rx. The reason I’m only giving it 3 * for now is, haven’t received a blood test to see if my levels have come down. On the positive side, no gout flares since I’ve taken the supplements.

I like that it not only provides turmeric and tart cherry, but adds some vitamins as well. It seems to be a good combo. Does it help avoiding gout attacks? Yes, it helps, but it doesn't avoid the occasional flare-up.

Sometimes I wonder if what I'm talking helps or not. And if I can't tell I give up after a few months. Not with this company. I'm a return customer because I know the difference. I've been using D-Mannose for years to prevent uti, then hubby had kidney issue so we went with this brand because I trusted them and we are not disappointed. We have used several others, I will see which ones.

This supplement works well. I was diagnosed with gout. I purchased these supplements, hoping they would work, amazing added help.

Great product for the price. There are other supplements that I’ve used for nearly twice the price. I’ve used this supplement off and on for a couple plus years. I have had gout flare up in the past, but “almost pain free” now. I started this with suggested usage. I currently take 1 cap every other day.
