Shims were too small, otherwise works good.
Installed on a ALH TDI. Only problem with the kid was the shims being way too small to fit over the shaft. With the old shim that came off the clutch was rubbing / no gap. My old shim was .55mm thick. The shaft the washer fits over is 11mm, and what the washer sits against on the inside is only 14mm so you really need something with as close to 11mm ID as possible. So you need something as close to 11mm id as possible. It was a bit of a scramble looking though spare washer bins looking for something that would work. I ended up finding a metric star lock washer that had 11mm ID and was .8 or .9mm thick (can't remember exactly). With that installed the clutch was still rubbing and had no gap so I added the old washer to it so about 1.5mm total worth of shim and that worked for me. So if yours happens to be the same a single 11mm id, 1.5mm thick washer should work.Used heavily over the last week with the heat wave and I havn't had any problems. Also have some good lock ring washers ready, the universal kind with swapable tips will not work. Knipex 4911A2 or similar is needed.

Came with the wrong shims
Came with the wrong size shims for the clutch plate and the neck was shorter than the one I took off so I had to make my own shims out of another washer to get it to work. So far so good after the install.

Had to make my own shims for proper adjustment
Needs to include shims so you can properly set the gap on the clutch portion

Shins too small and bearing to deep.
First, the coil is pretty good. The shins are garbage so if you lose the originals you’re kind of screwed. The bearing was also too deep so that with everything in place it was rubbing and heating up very fast. I am an ASE certified mechanic on AC systems and did the work to specs. Ended up getting a factory coil and clutch in the end. Don’t waste tour time and money.

Lasted less than 1 month.
It did not include the proper shims for the clutch. The coil burned out in less than a month. Waste of time and money.

Shim Washers That Set The Clutch Travel Did Not Fit
A slightly different design than original but overall good, complete hardware a great plus. But, you have to set the clutch/pressure plate spacing when installing and the included shim washers were the wrong size and wouldn't fit over the splined compressor drive shaft. These are specialty parts and cannot be found at hardware or auto part stores.Seller may have been able to help me out but I could not find a way to contact them through amazon.
