Pinkalicious and the Pink Hat Parade: An Easter And Springtime Book For Kids

My girls (ages 3 and 6) are big fans of Pinkalicious and we have purchased every book. We pre-ordered a copy of Pinkalicious and the Pink Hat Parade when it came out and it is really great. It is another one of those very happy stories with Pinkalicous and her brother Peter being happy kids. The best part about the story is that it is very positive throughout with no "Mean Girl", "Pink Stinks" negativity that is found in some of the books. The story is all about Pinkalicous and Peter entering the Spring Hat Parade contest. Each one has a great time creating their favorite hat while showing a lot of creativity and imagination (a great example for your child). Pinkalicious covers her hat in Pink and Flowers, as you would expect. Peter, on the other hand, creates a never before seen masterpiece made completely of chocolate candy. The only problem is that the parade is in the hot sun, and you can imagine what happens next. At the end of the story, there is a great happy ending and Pinkalicous does a very nice thing for her brother, who is now known as Chocolicious. It turns out to be a really happy story that is totally based in reality with no crazy, unrealistic fantasy journey in the middle of the book, like some of the Pinkalicous stories. My girls really enjoyed the book, which is the most important part of all. My 3 year old, who is just discovering Pinkalicious, insisted on reading it again right away.Long story short, the book has a positive and fun story with a happy ending, great artwork and is a great reading book for more advanced young readers. It also comes with Pinkalicious and Peter paper dolls and stickers that your child can decorate. A great Pinkalicious book. Highly Recommended!

My soon to be 3 year old granddaughter loves it. It has a good story line. It's engaging and visually fun to look at.

My granddaughter has read these books for a few years now and she always asks me to get her some for her birthday so this is my newest order she will be 8 in May and I know she will like the books i ordered and want more.

We are Huge Pinkalicious fans in our house. My 5 year old received this for Easter and it has become one of my favorites! Not only is it the cutest story but in there is a poster, stickers and 2 paper dolls!!!

these books are always fun and a delight to read. both my daughters love these books and can't get enough of pinkalicious and her hijinx. definiely a must read for the girls!

I've been on a Pinkalicious buying spree ever since I discovered these books. Like all the others, Pinkalicious and the Pink Hat Parade doesn't disappoint. My daughters loved it.

My Granddaughter thought the book great fun! She was sad for Peter when his hat melted, buthappy Pinkalicious shared her trophy.

I sent this to my four year old, pink crazy niece for Valentine's Day. She was thrilled and absolutely loved it.

This is a lovely story and a great book. My 6 year old adores all the Pinkalicious books and sits eagerly whilst we read them to her at bedtime. These books would suit older girls of around 8 too as they could read them themselves.Its the neighbourhood party where Pinkalicious and Peter live. There is always a hat parade and both children spend a day making their hats. Pinkalicious makes her with pink flowers and pink butterflies. Peter decides to cover his hat with chocolates. Imagine what happens when the parade starts and the day is boiling hot. Peters plans don't quite turn out the way he wanted them too.A lovely story which all small children - boys or girls would love. I imagine this would amuse girls upto the age of 9 or so, boys probably a bit younger - 6 perhaps.

Pinkalicious series of books are well written and as a daycare worker, I am impressed with the fact that each story as a good moral leaerning lesson for the child. Ten out of ten .
